Doncaster Rovers continued their recent good run with a comeback win at home to Brentford.

Rovers looked to be heading to their fourth defeat of the season before scoring twice in the last fifteen minutes.

Brentford broke the deadlock on the stroke of half time when Jonathan Douglas was found through the middle and his shot went in off the underside of the crossbar.

Rovers could have already been behind in the game with Clayton Donaldson missing a gilt-edged chance after a poor back pass by Shelton Martis.

David Cotterill got Rovers back into the game with just fifteen minutes when he cut inside before hitting a 25-yard shot past Simon Moore in the Brentford goal, his fifth goal of the season.

The goal spurred Rovers on and they won the game with just five minutes remaining when substitute Billy Paynter headed home a Martin Woods cross.

The win moves Rovers up to seventh place in League One with away trips to leaders Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday and fifth placed Notts County in the next week.
