Doncaster Rovers crashed out of the FA Cup as struggling Stevenage beat them 3-2 at the Keepmoat.

Stevenage, who are at the foot of League One, never looked back after Francois Zoko put them ahead early in the second half after a huge mistake by Rovers defender Paul Quinn.

Peter Hartley doubled the lead for Stevenage just past the hour when he headed home.

Harry Forrester gave Rovers hope when he fired home his first goal for the club from 20-yards but with Rovers chasing the game late on, Stevenage had men over in attack with Darius Charles eventually firing past Ross Turnbull.

Liam Wakefield pulled another goal back for Rovers in injury time when his cross was deflected in but it was a very disappointing day for Rovers who miss out on the possibility of a huge cash windfall in round four.
