Doncaster Rovers have signed Jamie McCombe from Huddersfield Town.

The 29-year-old defender has signed for Rovers on a two-year deal subject to the completion of paperwork.

McCombe made 30 appearances last season, including seven whilst on loan at Preston North End in December.

The experienced defender has made almost 400 appearances in a career spanning eleven years that has seen him play for Scunthorpe United, Halifax Town, Lincoln City, Bristol City, Preston and Huddersfield Town.
