Doncaster stretched their unbeaten run to four games as they ground out a goalless draw at Priestfield Stadium.
Tommy Rowe had Doncaster`s best chances but he failed to trouble the goalkeeper with a couple of attempts.
Conor Wilkinson went closest for the home side but his header cleared the crossbar.
Doncaster have now picked up eight points from their last four games to move onto 50 points and they are now eight points clear of the relegation places with games running out for the bottom four.
With seven games remaining for Doncaster, they can now start looking at those sides above them and hopefully a top ten finish this season.
Doncaster could still have an important say in who goes up and who goes down this season. The top two both have to come to the Keepmoat Stadium whilst Doncaster also have to face four of the bottom six in League One.
