Doncaster Rovers brought down the curtain on their SkyBet League One season with a 1-0 home defeat by Wigan Athletic.
Will Grigg scored the only goal of the game for Wigan with 15 minutes remaining to clinch the League One title for the Latics.
Doncaster’s failure to score means they have failed to score in their final five games of the season and have not scored for 485 minutes since Andy Boyle found the net in the 3-3 draw with Bury.
Doncaster managed just two shots on goal and they failed to trouble the Wigan goalkeeper. They have managed just three shots on target in their last three games of the season.
Doncaster also failed to register a corner in the game but they did have the larger amount of possession with 56%
The defeat sees Doncaster finish in 15th place in the League One table with 56 points. That leaves us six points above the relegation places.
