Doncaster Rovers physio John Dickens has revealed that Scottish defender Gordon Greer will be out for any time between 10-12 weeks recovering from a hip operation.

Dickens did however state that Greer may be available earlier than expected if his rate of recovery continues at the current high speed.

The positive news to come out of this is that the operation should see an end to Greer’s hip problem and will allow the ex Kilmarnock man to concentrate of adding to his 15 appearances this season.

In other injury news Brian Stock is an uncertainty for tonights game against Swansea as he has come down with a viral infection. He may however still feature depending on any improvement this morning.

Last seasons top scorer Paul Heffernan is now fully fit and is available for Sean O’Driscoll.

Graeme Lee is still unavailable and is still a way off from full fitness.
