Doncaster Rovers have extended the contract of youngster Tyler Walker.

The 18-year-old full-back will now remain at the club until the end of the season in the hope of earning a new deal.

He has made one senior appearance for Doncaster when he played the 90 minutes in their 1-0 win against Sunderland under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy earlier this season, this after being an unused substitute on three occasions last season.

Walker has recently returned to the Keepmoat Stadium after spending time out on loan at non-league side Biggleswade Town along with fellow Doncaster defender Reece Fielding.

Both returned after the New Year`s Day win against Dunstable Town.

Walker is now looking forward to player for the under-23 development squad side and he played in the 4-4 draw with Morecambe today.
