Doncaster Rovers midfielder Tommy Rowe is joining a small and exclusive club of current players at the club after being named in the starting line-up against Bradford City this evening.

Rowe is making his 100th appearance in a Doncaster shirt, one of only five current squad members to have reached triple figures for the club.

The 29-year-old has been at the Keepmoat since initially joining on loan in March 2016. Despite the subsequent relegation, Rowe impressed in the final ten games of the season, scoring three times.

He made the permanent move from Wolverhampton Wanderers that summer and he has been a regular in the side since.

Rowe played a pivotal part in ensuring Doncaster made an instant return to League One, scoring 13 goals in 47 appearances last season.

He looks well set to play over 50 games for the club this season, with his appearance tonight his 43rd of the season.

Rowe joins James Coppinger (568), Andy Butler (166), Andy Williams (103) and Luke McCullough (103) from the current squad to have made 100 appearances for Doncaster Rovers.
