Doncaster Rovers are not going to pursue their interest in Everton midfielder Conor Grant.

Doncaster had agreed a permanent deal with Everton for Grant in January but the midfielder wanted to keep his options open and wait until the end of the season and he joined the club on loan.

The 22-year-old made 21 appearances in the second half of the season for Doncaster, helping the side win promotion to League One and manager Darren Ferguson recently spoke about making the move permanent this summer.

The club announced their released list today on the Doncaster official website and stated that Grant had now returned to Everton and they would not be pursuing his signing at this time.
