Doncaster Rovers look set to welcome back Shelton Martis to the starting line up for the clash at Peterborough United on Tuesday.

Martis has been sidelined since suffering an injury in the defeat to Reading at the start of February.

He returned to the squad in the weekend win over Derby County and played the final ten minutes, he is expected to replace Elliott Ward who has returned to his parent club Coventry City after his one month loan deal finished at the weekend.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Mark Wilson both picked up knocks at the weekend but are expected to have shaken them off in time for the game.

Rovers will once again be without Brian Stock, Byron Webster and Steve Brooker who remain on the sidelines.

Peterborough will give late tests to both Lee Frecklington and Chris Whelpdale who are both struggling with injuries.

Both missed the weekend win at Watford and Posh boss Jim Gannon might decide to stick with the same eleven.

Peterborough will definitely be without Ryan Bennett and Kerrea Gilbert through injury.
