Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll was a disappointed man after seeing his side lose in injury time at Cardiff City.

Rovers had fought back from a goal down at half time and looked well in control in a very spirited second half performance.

Speaking on Rovers player O`Driscoll said ‘I thought we would go on and win the match even before we equalised because we were in total control in the second half.’

Defender Gareth Roberts brought the sides level just past the hour mark with another long range effort, his second of the month after also scoring one against Watford a fortnight ago.

Dean Shiels almost put Rovers in front but Gerrard somehow kept out his effort on the line.

Just when Rovers were thinking of heading back to Yorkshire with a well deserved point, Bothroyd’s weak header was somehow fumbled over the line by Sullivan.

It was a third defeat in a week for Rovers and they will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they entertain Reading in front of the live Sky TV cameras next Saturday tea-time.
