Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll was delighted with his side`s attitude after the hard fought FA Cup third round win at Brentford.

Rovers won 1-0 thanks to goal in the final few minutes from defender James O`Connor on a very poor playing surface after the recent poor weather.

Speaking on the official website O`Driscoll said ‘I’d watched Brentford twice and they were impressive but our attitude was first-class on a difficult surface.
We knew it would be a test for our players but we got on with it, worked extremely hard and we are delighted.”

Rovers started the game well and could have had the game sewn up by half time, with Billy Sharp unfortunate on at least three occasions to not give Rovers the lead.

Brentford almost grabbed a replay deep into injury time when substitute Sam Saunders missed from close range.

The win sets up a fourth round tie at Derby County this Saturday.
