Cheltenham Town are to hold a midday pitch inspection to see whether the pitch is playable for the FA Cup tie between the Robins and Doncaster Rovers.

Temperatures overnight plummeted to -6 degrees and the referee held an initial inspection at 8.30am, covers were put on the pitch overnight to try and protect areas but frost has managed to get underneath and some areas are worse then others.

It`s good in one way that the referee is giving it every chance to be played but almost all Rovers fans will have already made the long journey down to Gloucestershire (me included)
