The FA Cup third round clash between Cheltenham Town and Doncaster Rovers has been called of because of a frozen pitch.

Temperatures plummeted overnight to -6 which left the pitch rock hard in places.

The referee held an initial inspection at 8.30am but said he would take another look at midday, with temperatures still below minus at 11.30am the referee had no alternative but to call the game off.

The tie will take place on Tuesday, January 13, at 7.45pm at Whaddon Road.

The postponement means Rovers will definitely be in the draw for the fourth round for the first time since 1985, it`s drawn on ITV1 and Setanta Sports at 3.25pm on Sunday, they will be ball number 24.
