Doncaster Rovers have been given a home draw against either Sutton United or Notts County at the Keepmoat in the FA Cup Third Round.

Rovers will discover later on today who they will face when the two sides meet in their FA Cup Second Round at Sutton.

Non-League Sutton United will be best remembered for their FA Cup win over Coventry City at the same stage in 1989.

Coventry were a top flight side at the time and had only won the competition two years earlier.

Rovers have recent history against Notts County in cup competitions.

The two sides met in consecutive seasons in the Carling Cup at Meadow Lane in 2008 and 2009.

County won 1-0 in 2008 with Rovers gaining revenge the following season when they won by the same score line.

The last time the two sides met in the FA Cup was during the 1989/90 season when Doncaster won 1-0 at Belle Vue in a First round tie thanks to a Kevin Noteman goal.

The game will take place over the weekend of January 7th & 8th.
