Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson will welcome Alex Kiwomya back into the squad for the trip to Gillingham.

Kiwomya missed the trip to Blackpool last Friday but he has now returned to training and he will travel to the Priestfield Stadium.

Defender Andy Butler is close to a return but he is not expected to be involved until next weekend.

Danny Andrew and Tom Anderson remain on the sidelines through injury.

Gillingham will be without Lee Martin. The Gillingham captain is suspended following his sending off at Southend United on Monday.

Luke Neill is a doubt after he limped out of the Southend game.

The home side are expected to make changes following their disappointing 4-0 defeat at Southend with former Doncaster midfielder Franck Moussa hoping to start.

Callum Reilly could also return after missing the last two games through injury.
