Premiership referee Phil Dowd will be the man in charge of Boxing Day`s crucial Championship clash between Nottingham Forest and Doncaster Rovers at City Ground

Mr Dowd so far this season has refereed 21 games; in those 21 games that he`s refereed he`s shown 65 yellow cards and 4 reds.

His last game in charge was the Premiership game between Everton and Chelsea on Monday when he sent off England captain John Terry.

Last season he refereed only 45 games showing 124 yellow cards and 11 reds.

The last time he was in charge of a Nottingham Forest game was earlier this season when they drew 0-0 with Birmingham City, in that game he showed 5 yellow cards.

The last time he was in charge of a Doncaster Rovers game was also earlier this season when they lost 4-1 at Barnsley although he awarded Rovers a penalty and sent off a Barnsley player, he also booked five players in the game.
