Doncaster Rovers kicked off their pre-season programme with a 9-0 win at Armthorpe Welfare.
Doncaster boss Darren Ferguson used the game to get match fitness into his first team squad with two different sides in each half with the exception of Tyler Garratt and Joe Wright, with Wright being forced into playing both halves after Mathieu Baudry suffered an injury in the pre-match warm up.
Doncaster took control of the game in the first half with four quick goals. Tommy Rowe opened the scoring, his goal was followed by a quick brace from James Coppinger, and Andy Williams completed the first half scoring with a fourth.
Ben Whiteman scored the goal of the evening to kick Doncaster off in the second half with a 20-yard finish.
Liam Mandeville then took centre stage as he netted a second half hat-trick and John Marquis also got in on the act, as Doncaster completed a 9-0 victory.
Doncaster will now prepare for their second pre-season game at Tadcaster Albion on Saturday.
