Doncaster Rovers midfielder James Coppinger believes the side will come back strongly on Tuesday night after Saturday`s disappointing 1-0 defeat to Barnsley.

Rovers entertain Peterborough in a game between two sides currently in the bottom five.

Speaking on Rovers Player Coppinger said “We have a game to prepare for on Tuesday now and we will bounce back, stay positive and hopefully the fans will get behind us as they did today and we will bounce back and take three points”.

It was Coppinger`s first game since injury when he was carried of on the 26th September against Scunthorpe. Coppinger enjoyed his first game back, putting in an impressive personal performance.

Simon Gillett had a steady game in his first start for the club since signing on a two month loan deal from Southampton.

Martin Woods who is the current captain and Dean Shiels made up the midfield, both had good chances to put Rovers ahead.

Rovers had a number of players on the sidelines on Saturday, but they can welcome back Quinton Fortune and John Oster to the side in midweek after they served the last of their three match bans.
