Doncaster Rovers and AFC Wimbledon have announced a new date for their postponed League One clash.

The clash between the two sides was postponed on Monday due to a waterlogged pitch and they have quickly moved to announce a new date.

The two sides will now meet at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday 1st May (7.45pm).

The new date means a hectic finish to the season for Doncaster and the Keepmoat Stadium pitch.

Doncaster will now face eight games in the final 28-days of the season having had their recent home games with Bury and Blackburn Rovers also postponed.

Five of Doncaster`s last six games will be at the Keepmoat Stadium, all in the space of 18-days, and it will put increasing pressure on the pitch.

Rovers share the Keepmoat Stadium with the Doncaster Rovers Belles Ladies team as well as Doncaster`s Rugby League side. The Belles have two home games during the same period and the Rugby League side are at home three times between now and the end of April.
