Doncaster Rovers and Plymouth Argyle shared the points in a 1-1 draw at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Alfie Beestin scored his first league goal for Doncaster but his strike was cancelled out by a second half goal from Ryan Edwards.
Doncaster had early chances to go ahead, Tommy Rowe fired just wide and then John Marquis had a great chance to open the scoring but Plymouth keeper Remi Matthews denied him when the Doncaster striker was through on goal.
Matthews also denied Rodney Kongolo as Doncaster enjoyed the better of the chances in the first half hour.
Doncaster`s pressure eventually paid off on 37 minutes when a flowing move found Beestin on the edge of the area and he guided his shot into the top corner of the net.
Plymouth started to put pressure on the Doncaster defence in the second half and Sonny Bradley, who scored the only goal of the game when the two sides met at the Keepmoat last season, saw his header cleared off the line.
Antoni Sarcevic then headed over for the visitors as they piled the pressure on the Doncaster defence.
Plymouth drew level with 16 minutes remaining. A deep free-kick by David Fox found Edwards and the defender volleyed home from a tight angle.
Doncaster keeper Ian Lawlor then did well to keep the sides level when he denied Sarcevic with his feet.
Doncaster struggled to gain any momentum in the second half but in the closing moments, they had strong claims for a penalty turned down. James Coppinger went to ground after a tangle of legs with Bradley but his appeals were waved away by referee Andy Haines.
The draw extends Doncaster`s unbeaten run in the league to six games.
