Doncaster Rovers put their injury worries behind them with a battling draw at promotion chasing Norwich City.

Rovers claimed a point thanks to an Adam Drury own goal inside the final ten minutes.

Despite Rovers long injury list they were boosted by the return of captain Brian Stock for this clash from injury.

Rovers also named two youth team players in the squad to have a full bench for the first time in three games.

Mark Wilson had Rovers first meaningful effort on goal but his shot was straight at Ruddy in the Norwich goal.

Jason Euell then saw his shot deflected over the bar as Rovers started the game well.

Norwich broke the deadlock just past the half hour when Holt met a deep ball into the box and he slammed the ball into the roof of the net.

Holt had a good chance to double the lead close to half time but he shot over from close range.

The home side started the second half the better and Lansbury and Wilbrahim both having shots on goal without troubling Sullivan.

Moussa had Rovers first effort of the second half for Rovers but his shot from distance was easily saved by Ruddy.

Holt was being a constant threat for the home side and he once again shot over from close range.

Sullivan then made a good save to keep out a Wilbrahim header as the home side tried to find a second goal.

Oster tried his luck for Rovers from range but his effort cleared the bar.

Rovers got their equaliser when a corner from the Rovers right could only be headed into his own net by Adam Drury.

Euell then forced Ruddy into a save, as Rovers weren`t intent on sitting back for a point.

The referee added five minutes on at the end of the game but neither side looked likely to find a winner.

A good point for Rovers who now must try and get back to winning ways when they entertain Watford on Saturday.
