Team News

Watford
The Hornets will be without Darren Ward who fractured his cheekbone in midweek.
Mart Poom is the only other player injured so new Hornets boss Rodgers has almost a full squad to choose from which will include new loan signing Liam Bridcutt from Chelsea.

Doncaster
Rovers will be without James Hayter who suffered a knee injury in midweek. Also out are long term injured players Jos Van Nieuwstadt and Sean McDaid.
The visitors are likely to include new loan striker Steve Brooker from Bristol City in their squad.

History

This will be the first meeting between the two clubs for thirty years; Rovers will be hoping to improve on that last meeting when they lost 6-0 at Vicarage Road.

The two clubs have never drawn at Watford with the home side winning four and Doncaster winning two.
