Russell Booth will be the man in charge when Doncaster Rovers entertain Premiership high flyers Tottenham Hotspur in the Second Round of the Carling Cup.

Booth has taken charge of 5 game so far this season showing 5 yellow cards and 1 red.

He was the replacement referee for Mr Shoebridge for the Plymouth v Cardiff game recently, Shoebridge was dropped for the game when he missed the Crystal Palace goal at Bristol City.

Last season he refereed 23 games showing 52 yellow cards and 3 reds.

He took charge of one Rovers game last season, the 2-1 home win against Derby County.

The Nottinghamshire official who has been on the national list of referees will be taking charge of a Tottenham game for the first time.
