Doncaster Rovers go into the game at Reading on Saturday without leading goalscorer Billy Sharp through injury.

Sharp suffered a hamstring injury in last weekends win over Sheffield United and he is expecting to be out for around six weeks.

Rovers have failed in their attempts to bring in cover on loan and with Waide Fairhurst on loan and Steve Brooker still struggling with a sickness bug; they are short of firepower up front.

Martin Woods is still struggling with the groin injury that he`s been playing with for the last few weeks and is the only doubt.

Rovers have been boosted by the return to fitness of James Chambers and Wayne Thomas.

They will be without George Friend and Simon Gillett who are long term injuries.

Reading are sweating on the fitness of Jay Tabb, Jimmy Kebe and Jem Karacan but are hopeful that all three will be fit to play.

The home side will definitely be without Brynjar Gunnarsson who is out with a hamstring injury.
