Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll thought is side put in a terrific performance after a hard week at the Keepmoat.

After all the speculation this week linking O`Driscoll with the Burnley job and the fact Rovers hadn`t played since the 26th December it was nice for the team to get back on the pitch.

Speaking on the official website O`Driscoll said ‘I thought it was a terrific game today. I thought we deserved the win.
We have had a difficult week and it has been nice to finish it off with a performance.’

Rovers won thanks to two second half goals by Dean Shiels and Gareth Roberts.
Heidar Helguson scored a late consolation for the visitors from the penalty spot, but the game could have been out of sight by half time if not for an impressive display in goal by Scott Loach.

Rovers will now prepare for the FA Cup tie at Brentford on Tuesday night for the third time after the previous two scheduled games were lost to the arctic weather that`s been sweeping the country.

Brentford managed to get their home game on against Carlisle on Saturday and with milder weather forecasted for the week ahead there should be no problems getting it on.
