Darren Deadman will be the man in charge when Doncaster Rovers travel to Newcastle United on Saturday.

The Cambridgeshire official has refereed 11 games this season showing 30 yellow cards and 3 reds.

Last season he refereed 37 games showing 113 yellow cards and 7 reds.

This will be the first time he has refereed a Newcastle United game since being promoted to the National list of officials in 2003.

He took charge of one Doncaster game last season, the 2-1 defeat at Reading.
