Doncaster Rovers midfielder Brian Stock has been included in this weeks championship team of the week for his performance at Peterborough on Saturday.

The midfielder who has only recently returned from a long-term injury got Rovers back into the game with a 30-yard drive that gave the Peterborough goalkeeper no chance.

Stock`s equaliser for Rovers inspired the side to victory as they eventually won 2-1 thanks to a Kyle Bennett winner.

The win was Rovers second in three games, which has seen them take seven points from nine since the arrival of new manager Dean Saunders and move of the bottom and out of the bottom three.

Stock is the second Rovers player to be chosen this season after defender George Friend was included last week for his performance against Crystal Palace.

The team of the week is chosen by the Press Association for the top eleven performing players for their positions from the weekend`s games.
