Steve Lomas is the new favourite for the vacant Doncaster Rovers managers` job.

Lomas is currently manager of Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone and he has been linked with a move to the Keepmoat since Dean Saunders left last weekend.

The former Manchester City and West Ham midfielder is even money with Stan James for the job.

Coventry City boss Mark Robins was the early favourite and he was 1/5 on with bookmakers in midweek. He has now drifted out to 3/1 with Stan James.

Former Rovers favourite Glynn Snodin has seen his odds slashed this week. Snodin is currently on the coaching staff at Huddersfield Town and he is now 5/1 for the post.

Current caretaker boss Brian Flynn is 20/1 along with another former midfielder Neil Redfearn.
