Carl Boyeson will be the man in charge for the Doncaster Rovers v Coventry City game.

Boyeson refereed his first game of the season at the weekend, he showed four yellow cards in Charlton`s 2-0 victory at Hartlepool.

Last season he refereed 36 games showing only 42 yellow cards and 2 reds.

The East Yorkshire official didn`t take charge of a Rovers game last season. You have to go back to the 2007/08 season when he refereed Rovers twice, both at the Keepmoat.

He took charge of Rovers 3-0 win over Oldham in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy and then took charge of their 4-0 defeat at the hands of Swansea City, in that game he also sent off Rovers defender Stephen Roberts.

The last time he was in charge of Coventry was last season in their 0-0 home draw with Charlton in April.

Referee: Carl Boyeson (East Yorkshire)
Assistants: G. Hart & S. Smith
Fourth official: M. A Naylor
