Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders is sweating on the fitness of a number of players in his squad ahead of the Capital One cup tie with Hull City on Tuesday night.

Chris Brown is struggling with a hip injury and a number of players are carrying knocks after the weekend game with Crawley.

James Harper could make his first start for Rovers against his former club and James Coppinger could come into the starting line up against a club reported to want to sign him before the transfer window closes on Friday.

Defender Shelton Martis continues to remain on the sidelines.

Hull defenders Alex Bruce and Paul McShane could miss the game. Bruce was substituted just past the hour on Saturday after picking up a thigh injury and McShane suffered a head injury.

Matt Fryatt will once again be missing with an Achilles injury.
