Doncaster Rovers welcome South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley to the Keepmoat stadium with a number of injuries ahead of the Championship clash.

Simon Gillett who signed in midweek on a two month loan deal from Southampton looks set to make his debut with the Rovers squad down to the bare bones.

Rovers will definitely be without John Oster and Quentin Fortune who serve the last of their three game suspensions.

Also out are long term injured Steve Brooker, Sean McDaid, Adam Lockwood, Byron Webster and Brian Stock.

Mark Wilson will be missing after picking up a calf injury last time out at Sheffield United

James Coppinger and James Hayter have both returned to training this week and could return.

Billy Sharp will also return after having to sit out the game against his parent club Sheffield United.

On the other hand Barnsley are picking from an almost full strength squad, only Bobby Hassell will definitely be missing with an Achilles problem.

Emil Hallfredsson is expected to be fit after struggling with a knee injury recently.
