Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders could have a huge selection problem for the game at Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday night.

Paul Keegan will miss out after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the FA Cup defeat at Oldham at the weekend.

A virus is sweeping the Rovers camp with James McCombe, Tommy Spurr, Robbie Blake and Michael Woods all laid low.

David Syers is the latest player to join the injury list after he limped off against Oldham. Martin Woods is still missing through injury and fellow midfielder James Harper is rated as 50/50 for the game.

Kyle Bennett and Billy Paynter are closing in on a return following injury.

Better news is the return of David Cotterill and Iain Hume who missed the game at the weekend through suspension.

Crewe may make changes after losing in the FA Cup at the weekend to lower league opposition.

Luke Murphy could be available but Kelvin Mellor, and Ajay Leitch-Smith look set to miss out again.
