Doncaster Rovers have extended the loan of Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

The young keeper, who was away with the England under-21 squad this week, has extended his loan at the Keepmoat for a further month.

Johnstone joined Rovers on transfer deadline day with regular goalkeeper Ross Turnbull struggling with a calf injury.

The highly regarded 20-year-old has made five appearances since his arrival at the Keepmoat.
