The Rotherham United fans who travelled to Belle Vue on Saturday to collect for the Millers left before 2pm. They had the cheek to moan that Rovers were doing their own collection, which they always do, for the youth team and this was causing too much competition.

The Rotherham collectors used young children and women as an emotional tactic to try and stop Rovers fans abusing the collectors, while the male adults stayed in a mini-bus. The Millers collection started at approx 1.15pm but before 2pm they soon realised that they were not going to get anywhere.

When the collectors realised that they were getting no joy at Belle Vue, they moved around to the nearby supermarket, but they soon sent them packing as the collection was illegal.
