Whilst Doncaster Rovers are still to announce their released and retained list, Cedric Evina is the latest to announce his departure from the Keepmoat Stadium.

The defender, who has spent the season on loan at Crawley Town after being placed on the transfer list last summer, took to Twitter to thank everyone at the club.

Evina told his Twitter followers:

I would like to thank the players, managers, staff, fans and everyone at the club for the last 4 years. I have met some amazing people during my time at the club. Thank you for the memories, good and bad. All the very best in the future.

The 26-year-old joined Doncaster from Charlton Athletic in 2014 and he made 94 appearances for the club, helping them to promotion from League Two last season.

Evina joined Crawley in the summer on loan and he has made 34 appearances for the League Two side ahead of today’s final game of the season.

The defender joins fellow defender Mathieu Baudry in announcing his departure from the club in the past two days.

Andy Williams, Craig Alcock and James Coppinger are also out of contract after today’s game with Wigan Athletic and the club are expected to announce their retained and released list in the next couple of days.
