Doncaster manager Sean O’Driscoll admitted to Rovers World after last nights defeat that he’s interested in bringing Leicester City full back James Chambers to the Keepmoat.

Speaking to Rovers World O’Driscoll said
‘James has travelled up today to chat. He’s that sort of utility player that Paul Green gave us, he can play anywhere along the back four. He’s had lots of Championship experience, so we are having talks with him and we will see where that leads. He’s with Leicester at the moment and Leicester have given us permission to speak to him and that is what we are doing. He wont be spending a few days with us, he’s a proven Championship player and if we can move it anywhere forward over the weekend, then we will. If not, then there will be a quick decision over James’

27 year old Chambers previous clubs include West Brom, Cardiff and Watford.
He made 12 starts for Watford in the Premiership in 2006/07.
He’s also enjoyed promotion on three seperate occasions.
He predominantly plays at right back, he’s also played at left back and centre of midfield during his career.
He made 27 appearances for Leicester in the 2007/08 season.
