Doncaster Rovers crashed to their first defeat of the season as Port Vale cruised to victory at Vale Park.

Port Vale inflicted a 3-0 defeat on Paul Dickov`s side as they were outplayed by the Valiants.

Doncaster goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann had already saved a Sam Foley penalty when he could do nothing to keep out his header ten minutes before the break.

Former Doncaster loan striker Uche Ikpeazu doubled the score early in the second half and a cheeky finish from Byron Moore put the gloss on a fine performance by the home side.
