Doncaster Rovers went down to a 2-0 defeat in the Yorkshire derby at Bradford City.

First half goals from Charlie Wyke and Nathaniel Knight-Percival ensured Bradford gained revenge for their Carabao Cup defeat to Doncaster in August.

Doncaster dominated the early exchanges and they went close to opening the scoring when Alfie May saw his shot deflected onto a post.

Bradford went ahead when Wyke headed home after a ball into the middle by Adam Chicksen.

The hosts doubled their lead before the break when Knight-Percival headed home from a corner.

Doncaster pushed for a way back into the game but despite creating plenty of chances, they couldn`t find a way back into the game as they lost for the second game in a row.
