Rovers almost safe

Doncaster Rovers moved to within a point of certain safety in the Championship, after twice taking the lead before being pegged back in the local derby at Barnsley.

The game sprung into life in the last half hour when Euell tap in from close range.

Barnsley were level within ten minutes when Stephen Foster got on the end of a Butterfield corner.

Rovers were back in front four minutes later when Euell was again on hand to pounce after Steele spilled a Oster shot.

Just when it looked like Rovers were going to claim the three points that would guarantee safety Kieran Trippier fired home a free kick for the home side.

Rovers are now six points clear of Sheffield United and Scunthorpe in the relegation places, with only Sheffield United having a realistic chance of catching them on goal difference with two games remaining.
