Rovers are about to start the season back in the second tier of English football for the first time in fifty years.

We have four games in August and we couldn’t have wished for an harder start than Derby County away. Derby, relegated from the Premiership last season, have made wholesale changes to their squad over the summer, including signing Rovers hero Paul Green.

Our first home game is against Cardiff City, Cardiff had an excellent FA Cup run last season. They will be wanting to be challenging for at least a play off spot this season.

Our next away game is against big spending QPR, a club who most are expecting to gain automatic promotion this season after all the good players they have brought in.

Our last game in August is against Coventry City at The Keepmoat. Coventry have struggled in recent seasons but are hoping for better under Chris Coleman this season.

So how do you think we will do in August?
