Oldham Athletic and Doncaster Rovers shared the points in a goalless draw at Boundary Park on Saturday.

Both sides struggled to create any great opportunities in a game of little quality.

Oldham had 13 shots on target to Doncaster’s five. Oldham had five shots on target whilst Doncaster failed to trouble Johnny Placide in the Oldham goal.

The home side had 11 corners in the game to Doncaster’s five.

Oldham also had the most possession with 52% to Doncaster’s 48%

Both sides had one player booked in the game. With just two games to go now for Doncaster, they are one of only two teams, along with Blackpool, that haven’t had a player sent off in the Football League this season.

Doncaster will bring to an end a busy final month of the season with two more games in the final week of the season. Both games have significance at both the top and the bottom of League One. Wimbledon need a point from their final two games to guarantee their safety in the division whilst Wigan arrive at the Keepmoat Stadium next weekend knowing a draw should be enough for them to wrap up the League One title.
