Sean O’ Driscoll has stated in an interview that he may not be the manager who can get Rovers promoted. He commented on how far the club has come but says that it is a very difficult job getting a team up from the division. He suggests that he is not confident Rovers will get promoted this season.

Is he being too pessimistic? Or just realistic? Surely he was brought in to do one job, get Rovers up, other wise, why change the manager?
