The stadium car park has a capacity of 1,000 (with 60 disabled spaces), the maximum now allowed by Government legislation for green transport reasons (1 place per 15 seats).

The normal entrance will be from Potteric Carr Road, and the exit will be on to Lakeside Boulevard, unless changed by the police for safety reasons.

The yellow “stadium” signs indicate this route from all out of town areas, but this is for strangers such as away fans, and our fans will not be prevented from travelling via alternative routes such as exiting Bawtry Road at the Dome.

A third road is available for ingress or egress, again as required by the police.

Fans using the stadium car park will be encouraged (rather than forced) to carry three passengers in each car. This is a recommendation of the Green Transport Strategy for the development embodied in the planning permission.

The three in a car policy will also apply to away fans, executive box holders, and Premier Club members, but not disabled fans who are registered in the Rovers` system.

Home and away fans will be alerted to the policy by information carried on match tickets.

Fans in two-seat cars will not be refused entry.

A car share scheme will be encouraged, with formal arrangements being made via a website to ease its implementation.

The stadium car park charge will be £5 per car. Disabled fans registered with Rovers will be able to use the disabled spaces at no charge.

Free parking will continue to be available in the Vue car park (currently used by Rovers` fans on match days), from where a scenic footpath connects to the stadium via the mound area.

Stadium car park season tickets will be available as from the start of the next football season (2007-2008)
