Vital Doncaster looks at the short and brief history between MK Dons and Doncaster Rovers.
They have only met four times since they became MK Dons in 2004 after Wimbledon FC were moved 60 miles north and rebranded.
Rovers have won two and lose two of the four previous meetings.
Rovers won the first two meetings at the national hockey arena before losing on their only visit to the MK Dons stadium the last time they met.
A Mark Albrighton header halfway through the second half was enough to earn Rovers all three points in a League One clash in September 2004.
They met again the following season and Rovers won an enthralling clash 3-2. Nick Fenton headed Rovers ahead inside fifteen minutes and fellow defender Steve Roberts doubled the lead halfway through the first half.
Aaron Wilbraham pulled a goal back for MK Dons with just over fifteen minutes remaining in the game.
Paul Heffernan settled Rovers nerves with a third for Rovers on 86 minutes only for Wilbraham to go straight down the other end to reduce the arrears to one again but Rovers held on to secure the three points.
The two previous meeting at the MK Dons Stadium have both ended in a 3-0 win to MK Dons.
In the 2012/13 season, promotion-chasing Doncaster were smashed 3-0 by a rampant home side. Doncaster rarely threatened and goals from Izale McLeod, Daniel Powell and Stephen Gleeson secured a first win in nine games for the home side.
In 2014/15, A fairly even contest changed in fortuitous circumstances on 66 minutes. Dean Bowditch had only just come on to the pitch for the home side when a headed clearance by Mitchell Lund hit Bowditch and the ball looped past Stephen Bywater in the Doncaster goal.
There was no luck with MK Dons second and third goals from Carl Baker. Baker twisted and turned before smashing the ball home for his second and he gave Bywater no chance with his third six minutes from time.
