Doncaster rescued a point late on against Huddersfield to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.

Hosts Huddersfield were ahead through Robbie Williams, but Doncaster substitute Gareth Taylor levelled things. The hosts were ahead again through Andy Holdsworth from a free kick, the foul had seen Matt Hills was sent off for the visitors. The 10-men managed to claim a point through when Paul Green struck with 6 minutes remaining, how crucial might that goal prove?

The late equaliser keeps the automatic promotion hopes alive but Carlisle are now 5 points ahead of Doncaster and also have a game in hand so the play-offs are looking like Doncaster’s best route out of League One, or are they?
