James Hayter salvaged a point for Rovers with a goal in the final minute of normal time.

Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll makes five changes from the side beaten at Leeds at the weekend.

Shelton Martis, Dennis Souza, James Coppinger, James Hayter and Mark Wilson all started in place of Sam Hird, Joseph Mills, John Oster, Dean Shiels and Paul Keegan.

Gary McSheffrey had the first chance of the evening for the visitors but Gary Woods saved his effort in the Rovers goal.

Rovers had to wait until 16 minutes gone for their first effort on goal by Franck Moussa but it went wide of the post.

Coventry took the lead halfway through the first half following a corner.

The ball was knocked in to the back post; McSheffrey shot back across goal and Freddy Eastwood was there to score from close range.

Brian Stock had Rovers first effort on target but Quirke saved his 25-yard shot.

A disappointing first half saw Rovers going in trailing.

Lukas Jutkiewicz came very close to making it 2-0 early in the second half but his effort cannoned off the bar.

James Hayter had Rovers first effort of the second half on target but Quirke saved it.

James Coppinger then had a shot saved by the feet of Quirke as Rovers searched for an equaliser.

Coventry were also having chances and Jutkiewicz, Eastwood and McSheffrey all going close.

James Hayter equalised for Rovers with just two minutes remaining when he drilled home from the left side of the penalty area.

Hayter then had a good chance to give Rovers the lead in injury time but he headed over the bar as the clock ran down.
