Gillingham and Doncaster Rovers shared a goalless draw at the Priestfield Stadium as both clubs moved onto 50 points for the season.
Doncaster made one from the one that beat Blackpool last time out. Ben Whiteman replaced Jordan Houghton in the Doncaster midfield with Houghton not in the matchday squad after picking up a knock in training.
Defender Andy Butler returned to the Doncaster squad following injury and he took his place on the Doncaster bench.
Forward Alex Kiwomya was once again missing through illness having missed the trip to Blackpool last week.
John Marquis had an early chance for Doncaster but he could only fire wide from a tight angle.
Tommy Rowe was next to have a go for Doncaster but once again, his shot cleared the crossbar.
Gillingham had their first chance when Ben Nugent saw his header cleared.
Niall Mason then fired straight at Tomas Holy in the Gillingham goal.
Alfie Beestin then forced Holy into a good save as the visitors enjoyed the better of the game.
Gillingham made a double change at half-time and it lifted the home side.
Conor Wilkinson had Gillingham`s first chance after the break but he could only head over from a tight angle.
Rowe then had another chance for Doncaster but he could only fire wide once again.
Doncaster substitute Alfie May thought he had won the game late on when he had the ball in the back of the net but it was ruled out for a foul in the build-up to the goal.
May had another chance in the final minute but he couldn`t get the ball out from under his feet when he was in space inside the Gillingham six-yard box and the home side were able to clear.
Doncaster will feel they should have won the game but they will be happy to have reached 50 points for the season and extend their unbeaten run to four games.
