Commenting after Rovers one-nil home win against the League One Leaders, Sean O’Drisoll said:

‘We are having a great run at the moment and long may it continue.

‘Beating the leaders on top of the recent results we’ve had should send us into the Christmas period with plenty of confidence.

‘It has been an emotional day for the supporters but it was important we didn’t get caught up in all that. We kept our focus on the game which was very pleasing and then we were able to join in the fun afterwards.’

Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood described Theo Streete goal as a ‘freak-show goal’.

The Forest Gaffer went on to say: ‘There was nothing between the sides and it took a freak-show goal to beat us. Disappointing days like this are when you realise why you celebrate so much when you win.

‘The biggest howler was letting a shot come in in the first place. It is always difficult for the keeper because he doesn’t get a safety net behind him.

‘Now it’s time to pick ourselves up. We will get back on track and I’m confident we will be celebrating promotion at the end of the season.’
