Doncaster Rovers trialist Blair Yule has returned to parent club Cove Rangers.

Yule has just enjoyed a second trial spell with Doncaster from Scottish Highland League side Cove and he featured in the pre-season friendlies against Newcastle United and York City.

Just 24-hours after featuring for Doncaster at York, Yule was back in the Cove Rangers side for their Scottish League Cup tie against Montrose after things didn`t work out for him at the Keepmoat.

“Yule was a bit disappointed things didn`t work out at Doncaster but their loss proved to be Cove`s gain,” Cove manager John Sheran told the Evening Express .

Doncaster have brought in nine players this summer as they prepare for life in League Two next season but they have been hit by a number of injuries during pre-season that has seen them postpone two of their games, including the clash against Coventry City on Friday.
